Most landscaping firms grow out of gardening. This one grew out of groundworks — large housebuilding sites, hundreds of plots, programmes and budgets and building inspectors. Roads, drainage, foundations and everything that has to be right before anyone gets to think about how it looks.
That background is the whole reason this company exists. Domestic driveway work is technically straightforward, but it is done to a wildly variable standard, and the customer almost never has the information to tell the difference until it is too late.
So we do two things differently. We build to a site specification rather than a domestic one, and we write down exactly what that specification is before you commit a penny.
The quote nobody else sends
Most driveway quotes are a paragraph and a number. Ours run to eight or ten pages, and that is not padding. It is your design, the scope stage by stage, how it will be built, a programme with real dates on it, what is included, what is not, and one price.
It takes us longer to put together and it is the single thing customers mention most often. By the time you sign, you know exactly what you are buying and exactly when it will happen.

Site management background
Run day to day by a civil engineering project manager with an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Contracting Operations Management, SMSTS and a CSCS black manager card.
Plant tickets and street works
NPORS plant qualifications and a street works ticket, so kerb and footway work is done by someone certified to do it.
Properly insured
Public liability cover in place, certificates available on request before we start.
Building control experience
We have taken conversions through building notice and full plans, dealt with inspectors and produced the drawings ourselves.
Manufacturer trained
Certified installers for the resin systems we use, which is what keeps the manufacturer's product warranty valid.
Limited company
Milton Keynes Driveways & Landscaping Ltd, registered in England and Wales, with written terms on every job.
