Five years, in writing
Every driveway, patio and garden we build comes with a five year workmanship guarantee in writing, and it transfers if you sell the house.
What it covers
If our workmanship fails, we put it right
The guarantee covers the work we did: how it was built, not just how it looked on the day we left. If something we built fails because of the way we built it, we come back and put it right at no cost to you.
- Paving, blocks or slabs that sink, rock or come loose
- Edges and edgings that move or break away
- Resin that breaks up, loses stone or delaminates
- Falls that hold standing water where we designed them not to
- Steps, walls and structures we built that move or crack
What it does not cover
The fair exceptions
We keep this list short and plain so there are no surprises later.
- Damage from heavy vehicles, skips or plant the surface was not designed for
- Oil, fuel, chemical or rust staining, and damage from de-icing chemicals other than rock salt
- Natural weathering, colour change and algae — every outdoor surface does this
- Movement caused by tree roots, ground or drains outside the area we worked on
- Materials you supplied yourself, and work altered by someone else after we left
Making a claim
How it works
How do I make a claim?
Ring the number on your guarantee certificate or email us with a photograph. We will come and look within five working days and tell you in writing what we are going to do.
Does it transfer if I sell the house?
Yes. The guarantee goes with the property for the rest of its five years. Pass the certificate on with the house paperwork.
Is there a manufacturer guarantee as well?
On some jobs. Where a surface is laid as a full manufacturer system, the product can also carry the manufacturer’s own guarantee under their published terms. Your proposal says whether yours does.
