Dropped kerbs and vehicle crossovers
Most driveway firms cannot touch the footway. We can, so your crossing and your new drive get done by the same people in the same week.
Nearly every new or widened driveway needs a crossing formed.
Nearly every new or widened driveway needs a crossing formed over the footway, and it is work the council will only let a qualified contractor carry out. We hold the street works qualification and have done this work for highway authorities, so it is not something we subcontract out.
The licence itself is applied for by you as the homeowner - the council will not accept it from us. We will tell you exactly what to fill in, supply anything they ask for, and book the work in once it is approved.
Doing the crossing and the driveway together saves money and stops the two halves being built to different levels, which is the usual result of using two firms.
How we do it
- Formed to the council's specification and inspected on completion
- Kerbs, footway and any statutory covers reset properly
- Levels tied into your new driveway, not left as a step
- Programmed with the drive so the house is only disrupted once

The figure we give you is the figure you pay. No day-rate creep, no extras invented halfway through, nothing added at the end.
“Connor and the team recently completed our resin driveway in Bletchley. From going through the design with us and even making pictures so we could see how it looked, to the install and the aftercare, it has all been perfect. Thanks again.”

“Milton Keynes Driveways & Landscaping have just finished our full garden makeover in Milton Keynes. We had a porcelain patio, composite decking and raised sleeper beds. They arrived on time, kept my home clean and the garden looks terrific. They are coming back to do our block paved driveway soon.”
